Dhanutop is a selective herbicide belongs to the Dinitroaniline group and controls both, narrow and broad leaf weeds, used before the emergence of weeds and crops.
- Dhanutop after its application forms a thin layer at the soil surface which prevents the germination of weeds by inhibiting cell division and cell elongation and Microtubule assembly inhibition
- There must be sufficient soil moisture at the time of application of Dhanutop
- For effective weed control, the land or seed beds should be free of weeds, trash and clods at the time of application.
